New 3D Printers

Updated: Nov 21

Here at Paramount 3D we welcome the announcement of a new 3D printer or technology with excitement and a bit of wait and see if the initial claims actually live up to the hype. Yesterday Prusa announced its Core 1 X/Y printer https://blog.prusa3d.com/introducing-prusa-core-one-fully-enclosed-corexy-3d-printer-with-active-temperature-control_105477/ and while not having direct experience with Prusa printers, their reliability and quality have garnered a solid reputation. Everyone seems to be waiting for Bambu Labs' next new printer, and on the forums and FB groups, rumors of 2 heads and bigger print bed sizes have floated around, and hopefully, we will have solid news in 1Q of 2025. Phrozen, known for their resin printers annouced a core X/Y printer the Arco on Kickstarter in February 2024, but due to manufacturing delays will not ship till Q2 2025.https://us.phrozen3d.com/products/arco-fdm-3d-printer Qidi known for larger bed sizes has just released its Plus 4 model https://qidi3d.com/en-ca/products/plus4-3d-printer?_gl=1*1degrpp*_up*MQ..*_gs*MQ..&gclid=CjwKCAiArva5BhBiEiwA-oTnXSRzEvKdcQSINnFriVi3At81ta9OKTU1f3sCLgy9elNroEnBUtZijBoCiyIQAvD_BwE with 305x305x280 active heated chamber and focus on being able to print very high temp filaments like PA12. If you really want to print huge stuff Elegoo has got the Orangestorm Giga https://us.elegoo.com/products/orangestorm-giga with its massive 800x800x1000 print bed and ability to add multiple print heads to print multiple prints at a time on its bed. Please let us know what printers your excited to be released in the comments.
